Dr.
Killingsworth has interests in all anterior segment surgeries including
cataract , glaucoma and corneal surgeries. He enjoys teaching residents and
sharing his experience of private practice with them. Dr. Killingsworth
serves as the VA attending for most glaucoma surgical procedures and as well
staffs many cataract, oculoplastics and corneal cases. He also serves as
clinic attending for most of the VA minor procedures and YAG lasers.
He has
previous teaching experience as an instructor at both the University of
Florida and the University of Alabama. Dr Killingsworth graduated from
medical school in 1984 where he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha and was a
member of the Tinsley Harrison Research Society.
Since
finishing his training, he has had the opportunity to practice ophthalmology
in academic, HMO, private practice and now Veteran Administration settings.
